IADMS SYMPOSIUM Call for Presentations 29th Annual Conference Thursday-Sunday, October 24-27, 2019 Montreal, Quebec, Canada Presentations are invited for the 29th Annual Conference of the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) on clinical dance medicine, dance medicine research, dance science, dance education, and general dance topics. IADMS enhances health, well-being, training, and performance in dance by cultivating medical, scientific, and [b]educational excellence.[/b] We invite proposals for presentations that contribute to this purpose. Several presentation formats are available: Poster Presentation; Brief Scientific Presentation; Standard Presentation; Interactive Forum; Interactive Workshop; Movement Session. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Proposals must be submitted via our online abstract submission system and must be completed by March 1, 2019. For each abstract you submit, you must be both the primary (first) author and the lead (first) presenter. A person may be the presenting author on only two (2) abstracts. The Program Committee will not review additional submissions or consider them for inclusion in the scientific program. A person may be a secondary author on an unlimited number of abstracts. The submission system will open to new submissions on February 1, 2019 and will close at the end of March 1, 2019. Student Researcher Support Students with an abstract accepted for presentation at the 29th Annual Conference of IADMS will be invited to apply for a travel grant from the Student Researcher Travel Fund and for the Student Research Award sponsored by the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries at NYU Langone Medical Center and by the IADMS membership.
